AND THE DOPEST PERFORMANCE GOES TO...

Happy Monday Everyone!

Okay so this is definitely not an entertainment blog however, from time to time there will be postings recapping or shouting out our kingdom sibz who rock in the biz! With that being said we must give a ROCK ON! to MARY MARY ft. QUEEN LATIFAH for the dopest performance last night on the 2009 BET Awards. You ladies rocked it out and it was one of my most memorable performances. JOB WELL DONE!

Mary Mary may not appear the average representation of what Christ is "suppose" to look like for some! However, He's all over them. It's ministries like Mary Mary that remind the rest of us that often times we are so focused on the 4 walls that we miss our assignments completely. Everyone's pulpit is not meant to be in the church. Truthfully, our pulpit is wherever our feet land, but there is a remnant of us whose pulpit may be in secular places. WOW~I already heard somebody say: "that ain't God." But it is soooo God! Jesus ate with sinners exclaiming it's the sick who needs the doctor, not the healthy. And i'm paraphrasing...

Our gifts reveal where our pulpit is located. For example: if you're a poet and you know it, LOL your pulpit could be various spoken word venues, if you're a bang out fashion designer, your pulpit could be the run way, you get the picture. We can't expect everyone who needs Jesus to run to the alter.....DID WE?? Therefore, we must take God out of our comfort zones and let Him show how to TRULY give Him glory via our service for the kingdom. When we pigeon hole God to fit our personal limits, we are NOT exercising faith. Yes the bible says to be wise and not foolish in our decisions but above all it says to make them through earnest prayer and supplication. There are so many pulpits that are dusty and falling apart all because we have not taken possession of them. The church pulpits are good and shiny and in some instances ready to catch on fire...but that's another blog.

If any of you lacks wisdom, he should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to him. James 1:5
If wisdom regarding our assignments lack, we should ask God immediately. Many have been mislead by the statement: "don't question God." We are not to question His position, meaning His decisions as in saying ours would be better, His authority, but we are allowed to ask regarding what is misunderstood...He's our father, He longs to train His children!

Let's make this our last day on the WRONG pulpit, or watching ours collect dust. There's work to be done.....so let's GET ER DONE!

Until Wednesday

ACTIVATOR ANYONE?

Itz FRIDAY!!!! dance, dance, dance~if anyone has had the week I've had you'll take a dance break with me!

My riverz have been doing a serious flowing on the subject of "Activating your victory!"
Now I know it sounds weird and the title doesn't help because it sounds like I want to bring back Jerry Curls, but let's plow through it...

When we accept the Lord Jesus Christ as personal saviour, one of the gifts we receive with eternal life is victory while here on earth. It's almost like the worst secret that could ever be revealed to the believer because once it's fully activated, the enemy can NEVER win again! If victory is already inside of us awaiting activation, how do we get it activated? The answer, THE WORD OF GOD! The Holy Bible which contains the Holy scriptures is the only way to activate VICTORY in your life. Think about it: many of us complete our personal bible study at the most distracting times, which usually results in it being incomplete. We read on lunch breaks, where people will come and talk to us, late at night and the scriptures end up reading us or at breakfast when we have our TO DO list for the day overtaking our mind. Therefore, when adversity is faced and VICTORY is the response, it doesn't assume it's position because the WORD hasn't been spoken.

If anyone has ever seen the movie "Weekend At Bernie's" this will be a helpful example. Bernie was a dead man who responded ONLY to music. Anytime music played he would began to walk which left little indication that he was not asleep but actually dead. Bernie's death was suppose to be kept a secret, and remained especially when the music began to play. Victory works in the same manner, in that it receives its activation from something. That something is the rhema (spoken) word of God. When the trial arises, and the word is spoken, Victory responds accordingly. Like Bernie, our Victory to the enemy is dead, but as we speak the words, it comes to life and the enemy is then perplexed, because what he thought didn't exist has now defeated his plan.

I am done with victory less battles therefore, I am creating a schedule that will ensure bible study time daily. It's impossible to not read the bible consistently and expect the best results. Let's develop a plan this moment, to do whatever it takes to spend intimate time with God's word resulting in fully activating 100% VICTORY in our lives. Everything revolves around the word! The earth and all within was established based on the rhema word. Speak the word and watch it work on your behalf! Until MONDAY begin ACTIVATING YOUR VICTORY!

Have a blessed, safe & prosperous weekend.

FIRST AND FOREMOST LET ME APOLOGIZE FOR NOT MAKING GOOD ON MY WORD FOR A POSTING ON YESTERDAY. THE ENEMY TRIED SOME OL SLICK STUFF WITH MY LITTLE GIRL WHICH LANDED ME IN THE EMERGENCY ROOM ALLLLLL DAY! HOWEVER, WHAT THE ENEMY MEANT FOR EVIL GOD MADE IT FOR GOOD. SOMETIMES THE LORD PLACES US IN UNCOMFORTABLE SITUATIONS AS A RESULT OF THE LACK OF ATTENTION IN PRAYER THE PLACE OR CIRCUMSTANCE IS GIVEN. HAD I NOT BEEN IN THE HOSPITAL WITH MY LITTLE ONE, I CAN'T SAY THAT I WOULD'VE BEEN IN SUCH EARNEST PRAYER ON BEHALF OF SICK CHILDREN WHO FAMILY DOESN'T KNOW TO COVER THEM IN PRAYER. SO, BLESS GOD! BUT I MUST ADDRESS ANOTHER TRAGIC INCIDENT THAT ALSO OCCURED YESTERDAY AND THAT'S THE DEATH OF THE KING OF POP HIMSELF MICHAEL JACKSON! MY ULTIMATE PRAYERS ARE: THAT HE ACCEPTED JESUS CHRIST, COMFORT FOR HIS FAMILY AND THAT THEY TOO IF NOT ALREADY WILL ACCEPT JESUS ~R.I.P. MJ

SURF BOARD or STITCHES???

It's TUEZDAY~I must first send out heartfelt condolence and prayers for all of the families who lost loved ones in the DC train crash on yesterday! Blessed are they that mourn for they will be comforted! Your comforter (JC) is standing with you today!

Okay fam, so I realized anytime God is preparing to take me to another level I have to participate in various forms of circumcision...and we thought only males were circumcised! LOL

The Lord challenges me to rid of behaviors, attitudes or practices that will hinder my growth to the next level. It's just like dating to marriage. When dating you have less accountability to the individual because you are simply getting to know one another, but when married, you must provide info regarding whereabouts etc. You can't just stay out all night, not call and come back the next day thinking all will be well. You get the point!

As God transitions us to higher heights in Him, we must not only rid ourselves of personal hindrances, but of people that will hinder. This is especially difficult when you have history with the person. However, just like a horrible habit, a person can prohibit as well. So how exactly do we know who can ride the waves and who gets the axe. Rather bluntly put I know, but it's all good!

Let's list some differences so that we can ALL be 100% clear when deciding who fits into what category.

WHO CAN RIDE THE WAVES~
1. Our language if not exactly the same, is very similar.
~If I am planning to travel the world, you're not limited to envisioning traveling the city...AXE THEM!

2. When we communicate there's a stirring within, my baby leaps.
~Our convo should be so refreshing and motivating I began activating what we discussed immediately after the convo.

3. I am afraid to try or dream bigger, you challenge me to do so.
~The person shouldn't be agreeing that it is too big or too scary...AXE THEM!

4. I am completely out of my league and should focus on achieving something more suitable to my gifts or talents, and you assist me in love to see that.
~If your dream is to become a recording artist and you couldn't sing unless Jesus came down and stroked your vocal cords Himself, but your friends tell you it's a wonderful idea...AXE THEM!

5. When you mention your progress towards obtaining your goals your friend is ecstatic for you and asks with sincerity, how they can help you get to the finish line.
~If they don't reply and become jealous...AXE THEM!

6. Your circle of friends should compliment AND encourage you to get better, not diminish your character.

The list is endless. It's all specific to your situation! Create your list today and decide whose riding and whose getting the axe! Remember, if you take someone who is temporary into a permanent phase of your life i.e. destiny, you're hurting no one but yourself. I don't know about anyone else, but the journey to my destiny has been a lengthy and often cumbersome one without any additions. I am unwilling to volunteer myself to further unnecessary delays and stress. Decide today if they get a surf board or stitches...

Until THURZDAY

DON'T BLOW MY COVER!

Wattup fam, happy Friday!

I was reading the first chapter of Mark yesterday evening where Jesus agrees to heal Simon Peter's mother-in-law and I couldn't help but notice each time Jesus performed the healing miracle he instructed not to tell. Some years ago when I would read that chapter I could never understand why is it, Jesus didn't want anyone to know. He even rebuked evil spirits when they would unveil His identity. Was Jesus being super humble and wanted to ensure He wasn't given credit ensuring it would go to His father?

The more I read of the miracles Jesus performed, paying extra attention to His reaction, I began to receive deeper revelation as to why He reacted as such. Jesus knew very soon He would have to endure Calvary. If the people He needed to minister to caught wind that He was the Messiah, His cover would be blown...This is as Oprah would label and "AH HAA" moment.

Has there ever been a time where the Lord wanted to use you in an usual location, and as a result of your "deepness," the cover was blown and the assignment was compromised. This is why we must be assertive of who we are in the kingdom of God so that we won't need the exterior validation. Think about it: when we're in the grocery store, work, the mall etc., people won't know our kingdom status by meerly looking at us. Therefore, it's a great opportunity to introduce Jesus to those whom otherwise would instantly reject even hearing about Him from those "looking the part." In actuality there is usually a great level of timidness. The members of the church are often intimidated of those in leadership positions, so you can imagine how much greater this exists with those who are not in Christ.

Let's be honest, many Christians walk and talk differently! Let me elaborate...there is a overwhelming percentage of fake, carbon copy of phony original saints pastoring, evangelising, ushering, singing on the choir, or simply keeping the pews warm. As a result, Christendom has taken a severe blow. Nonetheless, there is still a remnant who is 100% authentic in who they say they are in Christ. However, because the task is challenging we must be sure to not blow our cover. There are multitudes of people who will NEVER come to church to find Christ therefore, we must take Christ to them.

So, starting this instance let's make a unified decision to not be so "heavenly high" that we're no earthly good. Really, God is so grand he doesn't need us with our fancy crosses and collars anyway! It's not about us, it's about recruiting souls for the kingdom. Perhaps if we all make a vow one by one to adapt this spirit, the kingdom would began to return to it's intended state! Think about it and act!

Have a wonderful, blessed & safe weekend. Until Monday...

Happy Wednesday Fam!

These past few months I have been engaged in active spiritual warfare and yesterday I really had to hear a deeper revelation as to reasoning for the depth of it.

I thought: "my God what is the deal with this?" I felt as if the more I trusted God, the harder this season became. But yesterday while stilling myself, He began to share with me that for the level of ministry I'm destined to participate in, I must understand what it's like to be at the BOTTOM! WOW "God is you sure I be the one?" LOL

So today, let's ask ourselves: "can God trust us enough to completely disrupt our lives even if done publicly in order to save someone else's, giving Him the glory in the end?"

If your answer isn't an immediate YES, let's explore how to get to that point. The Lord doesn't allow us to experience public humiliation via divorce, abuse etc. to get back at us for sin. You'd be surprised how many people actually believe that! He does it in order to create a level of trust within us. Think about it: if God can trust that even after flipping our lives upside down, inside out we will still press and not give up, we're a major access to Him. He often allows it to be public in order to strengthen our witness when the testimony is shared with others, because they physically saw us at our worst.

Then he said to his disciples, "The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few. Matthew 9:37

There is so much work to be done in order to manifest the great commission which says to go out and baptize all nations in the father, son and holy spirit. Unfortunately, the laborers are few as a result of not desiring to use the power within to sustain trials. Reflecting over history past with renown leaders such as Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., it is evident the dire need to have willing workers for the kingdom of God. As a result of his willingness to sacrifice a life without struggle, God was able to use him to change an entire world. "CHANGE" may be President Obama's platform, but it came through the turmoiling birth canal of Dr. King. Dr. King endured temporary public humiliation and personal devastation, but he received both public and eternal glorification in the end.

The bible highlights in multiple locations that the Lord will NEVER leave nor forsake us. If He brought us to it, He has every intention to bring us through it! So we ask ourselves again: "at what level can God trust us in order to make us strong workers for His kingdom?" This is another one of those self evaluation blogs, where we began a list evaluating where we are. Keep in the back of your mind as you complete your list, that He sacrificed Himself because we were the "work." We were created to be His instruments, let's get to work!

Until Friday~Be Blessed

Don't be scurred!

Happy Monday cyber fam! Pray you had a safe and fulfilling weekend!

TODAY~what's in the well? So over the weekend, I was reflecting over an enlightening conversation I had last week with a very powerful man of God regarding one of the offices I house in the kingdom of God. Needless to say, this conversation opened the levies and sparked a strong desire to gain more revelation, which led me to rereading Judges 4 where it illuminates Deborah.

Prophetess Deborah commissioned Barak(go figure) under the direction of the Lord, to go into battle with the guarantee that the adversary would be handed over to him. However, Barak handicapped by fear, would not trust the word of the Lord and replied to Deborah "If you go with me, I will go; but if you don't go with me, I won't go." Here is where it gets interesting. Deborah responded and I'm paraphrasing: I will go with you but a woman is going to receive the honor for defeating Sisera.

As a result of Barak's "unnecessary" fear, he forfeited his honor. How often is it we are impacted by fear and as a result do not receive the blessing that has been awaiting us? As followers of Christ, we too know the result of the warfare’s we engage in, which is victory! Even if we face defeat we are still victorious! The father had recently proven His word's validity in Joshua as they were en route to the promise land. Therefore, there was no need for any level of doubt in God's ability to make good on His promises. Today, the same applies. There has yet to be an instance in any believer's life, where the Lord's words have fallen to the ground. They have all accomplished that which they were intended. So why is it that the people of God accept the spirit of fear so easily? 2 Tim 1:7 tells us that we are not given a spirit of fear but instead one of power, love and a sound mind.

Fear is one of the greatest tactics of the enemy because he realizes, if he can scare the believer into not even trying, it's an easy win situation. When we give into fear, we limit God in every aspect of our lives. He desires to reign freely, and fear handicaps Him. Fear cancels all prayers because it is the direct enemy of faith. Without faith it is impossible to please God. So with the absence of faith as a result of the presence of fear, we are a stench in God's nostrils.

Ask yourselves today, is it fear as to why you haven't experienced the fullness of God in your lives. If the answer is yes, stare your fears directly and declare TODAY, that they shall no longer be a stronghold in your life. Fear NOT, God's got your back!

I swear itz dejavu!

Hey wassup cyber fam! Yesterday I was reading Acts 1 where it talks about pentecost and how the wind blew, people spoke in tongues of fire and many exclaimed they were simply drunk. After reading that portion, the Holy Spirit challenged me to go over and take a look at 1Samuel, where Hannah was accused of drunkedness by Eli the priest. Just to give a little back ground info for those who may not be familiar with the story of Hannah, Elkanah, & Samuel: Hannah was one of two wives of Elkanah, the other being Penninah, whose womb was fertile. Hannah greatly desired a child, so she consistently petitioned God for a son and promised to rededicate him back to Him as an offering of thanksgivng for opening her barren womb. Hannah bore a son Samuel, and as she promised, she rededicated him back to God. As Hannah sat in prayer, the heavens opened and she experienced a pentecost moment before men knew it to be. Her priest had not even conceived what had taken place. Like the on-lookers on the actual day of pentecost, he accused Hannah of having been under the influence of alcohol as he witnessed her speaking in tongue. When Eli witnessed Hannah's lips moving, it was uncommon and new, so he labeled it with what was familiar to him.

The Lord began to share 2 revelations with me. The first is Dejavu! I always wondered what exactly Dejavu was because I have had experiences whereas I felt a sense of familiarity but had never physically had the experience. Dejavu is not always necessarily physical, it can also be very spiritual. There are times when the Lord will advance our understanding in the spiritual to a level that we feel as if we've physically visited, but we've only been given a revelation in the spirit. Therefore, when the manifestation occurs, we feel as if it's simply a reenactment as opposed to something new. There has to be a great level of submission and willingness in order to experience the true meaning of Dejavu. It's almost like being allowed a private meeting with the mind of Christ. Our Dejavu experiences are freewill therefore, we must desire to have them. The Lord releases these opportunties in order for us to become equipped to conquer challenges before they are even allowed to interject.

The 2nd revelation is the need for present day pentecost baptism in our personal lives. The Holy Spirit descended in such a brisk manner, the entire atmosphere had not a choice but to become completely captured. I find myself needing that "suddenly" penetecostal movement often, in order to survive and grow in Christ. Allowing the Holy Spirit to baptize us with His very presence and power creates much needed suddenly's. I can recall living in California and riding my bike from North Hollywood to work the overnight shift at the radio station. As I rode towards the on coming traffic in order to see the cars ahead, I noticed a car sitting at a stop sign. The driver looked at me, so I thought, so I proceeded. Before I knew it, the car was heading towards me and I was callng on the name of Jesus. "Suddenly" the angels captured me as I was thrown off of my bike and in the same instance stopped the car from running over my legs. I called on the Holy Spirt to intervene, immediately the heavens opened and my "suddenly" was released.

So today cyber fam, on our quest to holiness, we want to ensure we're open, willing and submitted in order to be invited to experience spirtual dejavu's. We must also make the decision to revisit pentecost, allowing the Holy Spirit to endow us daily. Like Eli, those around us may be unfamilar with our reactions to His presence. They may see what looks to be an experience of hell. As a result of revisitng pentecost, our actions will deem the very opposite because the presence brings peace that all will work for our good.

Have a wonderful, blessed and prosperous weekend! Until Monday~

Flow Riverz Flow!

Hey fam! I decided to blog every other day as opposed to every day because it's much easier for me with the little one and all.

This morning I picked up my sidekick to check my emails and I saw a rather interesting one that went on to give various humor quotes about God, including judging others, being honest etc. While reading one of the quotes, you already know what happened. That's right~flow riverz flow!

The quote said "Why put a question mark where God puts a period." I understood where the writer was going but to take it all the way let's go with "why put a period or question mark where God places a comma."

After being whipped with life's changes, being kicked from the top to the bottom, many stop there. However, when you're in Christ it's only a comma or selah (pause). We are never defeated! Just as God is preparing to introduce the "come back" strategy we miss it because we have already placed a period and given up. There has to come a time in the believer's life where throwing in the towel is not an option. We must develop such a spirit of perseverance that at even the idea of a "whoa is me moment" coming, we stop it in its tracks. Until we develop that attitude, we'll NEVER experience the best life and upon entering heaven will be lead to the room housing all of the blessings God desired to release to us but couldn't all because we refuse to believe. The bible tells us if we have faith as minute as a mustard seed, we can move mountains. Reflecting over Christendom overall, it appears that we struggle to even house faith the size of the mustard seed grain. Now before you get all bent and deep on me let's explore it a little further.

If we were truly exercising faith wholeheartedly, gangs would be dismembering as oppose to recruiting because Christians would not be afraid to intervene and take back neighborhoods. Recession for the Christian would be here say because faith reminds us that the God we serve is not BROKE! The examples are endless, everything from cut off notices to foreclosures. So, the task until it's fully adapted is to tap into the reasons as to why we do not exhibit total faith in our personal lives and begin doing so. Without faith it is impossible to please God. He's not being harsh by commanding us to have faith, He's actually being compassionate because He knows what faith can release in our lives.

After you're done reading and have left a comment (smile), write out a list of all of the reasons you can think of as to why faith is lacking in your life, say a prayer asking God to help you break through those barriers and develop a lifestyle of faith. Gotta go....I have a list to complete!

Is it time for change?

Okay I do realize that I'm like late today however, I promise it will be worth the wait.

Yesterday, I reluctantly attended church with my family at the church I attended from childhood until I left for college. I used the term "reluctant" because I realize my time is very important and waisting it is not an option. The church is of a denomination which does not acknowledge the fullness of the Holy Spirit. They believe that God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit are all in one, but not that the Holy Spirit gives revelation, direction etc. They also do not believe in the flow of the prophetic.

So, I sat as the pastor stood tall and proud at the podium, "today's sermon title is exercising the power of God within." I already knew due to lack of being open to receiving revelation inspired by the Holy Spirit the message was going to be dietary, but of course my own riverz began to flow. It's amazing how revelation knowledge is almost sitting in mid air awaiting to be accepted, and is released to whomever is willing. The pastor didn't want it but I was more than happy to receive it! LOL

The problem is not that we, the children of God lack power, the issue is in activation and finally exercising it. The power of God is similar to that of a visa or master card whereas you possess it, but in order for it to have an impact, it must be activated. The power of God is activated through the word of God. His word brings power which then opens doors for the Holy Spirit to enter and flow in additional realms. For example: you and I can walk up to President Barak Obama and tell him how we believe the country should be ran. He may listen to what we're saying, but it will amount to absolutely nothing to him because he possess' the knowledge and understanding required to properly manage the country, we don't. Until we have the word of God to bring forth power, our words and actions will be empty. Many become so overwhelmed with life's challenges and circumstances, that they don't make it to the activation or exercising stages, which is why we must house the word. The word of God should be hidden in our hearts that we might not sin against God, and also to be readily available when needed. As trials/tribulations arise, the word is there to awaken the power that is simply lying dormant to combat on your behalf.

Sitting there, my riverz began to flow not so much about activating the power of God as did the importance of being under a good bible teaching/believing ministry. So many of us have become complacent with attending ministries for the wrong reasons: popularity, socializing, programs etc., and we have neglected it's TRUE purpose in our lives. In the bible many would go into the synogogues and tent meetings to receive and to expense. People came for healing, deliverance, salvation, and to serve the community. Has the vision been tarnished or even lost completely?

If you're in a church that doesn't hold you accountable, require a spirit of honesty, integrity, lacks vision, negates the five fold ministry, has pastors with a heart for the members, it's time for a CHANGE! Truthfully, the church has been allowed to operate in this manner because people have are comfortable in sin and are disgruntle when it is exposed. If that's YOU, understand God is calling you to a place of holiness. Please don't be afraid, it's not a dirty word. Often times, when holiness or righteousness is suggested, there is a level of intimidation because many believe you're devoting your life to reading the bible 24/7. If you do not submit to God you'll live your entire life, going to church sunday after sunday and NEVER truly know God and experience His power. I had to choose Christ over my fleshly desires and He's calling you to do the same. It's not the easiest task, but it's the MOST rewarding. Make the decision today, gain membership with a ministry that will stretch, develop you and assist with manifesting your destiny! Be Blessed

My Grandiddy!

Often times my grandfather, effectionately known as "JD" aka Jim Dollar and I have huge debates over everything from the bible to the winning lottery numbers. If you have ever met my grandfather you know he has problably benefitted from the MD Lottery more than they intended. He wins at least twice a month and it's decent amounts...in the thousands, but he is as tight as a ants nostril.

The other day he and I began to debate (as usual) about saying your grace over food. My grandad is 82, so he prays loud with his hands folded in front of him regardless the setting whereas, I pray silently, without my hands folded etc. He went on to chastise me saying he knows plenty of people like me who don't thank God for food, all because he didn't hear me say it....GO FIGURE! LOL... So, after he told me the bible said to give thanks, which it does, I began to tell him that it also says to not pray in the synogogues for man's approval like pagans, adding how he wins the lotto and is stingy and what the bible says about being stingy.

My grandfather is the king of "come backs," he's so quick on his feet even at 82, which is where I get it from. He says: "The problem with you and the lottery is that you don't sew enough seeds. You sew once or twice and expect a harvest. As for me, I sew daily as much as I want in return. If you learn how to sew maybe you'll reap and won't need my reapings!" HILARIOUS!!!!! Who knew that convo was going to turn into a lesson about seed time and harvest, but of course with me, the riverz began to flow.

He was right! Grant it he didn't quite address his stinginess, but overall the msg was true. I began to think of the reasons as to why I haven't reaped in areas I "thought" seeds were sewn significantly. I sewed once or twice and walked away. I didn't cultivate the seed nor did I bother to check periodically for weeds, which could choke my seeds. I never came back to even plow the area, so basically while I await harvest, i'm practically waisting my time. Perhaps, some other sewer came along, saw that a seed was sewn on good ground and decided to add to and cultivate that which I had planted. I can't be upset because I didn't follow through! As I have watched so many that i've even assisted (sewn into) go before me, I must admit I sewed and moved on. How guilty are we all of that??

So, today let's make a declaration that we will at the least ATTEMPT to follow our seeds to harvest. Sometimes we may sew on dead land, if so, move to a fertile ground, sew again and follow it through. Being in Hollywood I saw so many "wanna be's," but are not willing to do the work to get there. The bible says faith without works is dead! If we don't work alongside of our faith, we're just doing something...We can pray until Michael Jackson stops wearing masks in public to "BECOME," but if we don't make it a PRIORITY to do the work we're praying amiss.

Aight fam, tell me your take on the ordeal!

Itz Gr8ter!

Wassup fam! This morning I was up with my little one around 1am or so and there was a James Brown preacher on the radio you know, the talking loud and saying nothing type. So, while he was "preaching" my riverz began to flow about some real talk. The scripture from Samuel that says: "obedience is greater than sacrifice," was just ringing and I began to receive long awaited revelation.

I would think what on earth is meant by that scripture, so often times I went along as if I got it but on the real, I hadn't until now. Okay so the reason God breathed obedience to be greater than sacrifice, is because disobedience sacrifices ALL, let me expound. Disobedience to the will of God removes us from the presence of God because He only inhabits places exhibiting ORDER. Disobedience creates a communication breakdown between us and God which then sacrifices our ability to discern danger and removes the favor/glory cloud from hoovering over us. To be disobedient ultimately is to sacrifice your life, because disobedience brings about sin and sin is death.

Man, that whole revelation is something. It pays to be odedient to Christ's words regardless of the pain associated with them. It may feel, smell or even look wonderful, but if it's outside of the will of God not only is it temporary, its result is intended to take your life. Many get touchy about being FULLY obedient to God because it's not the most popular position to be in. Afterall, everybody else is getting it in right, so why can't we? I can't speak for anyone else, but i'd rather be considered "unpopular" and hear God clearly then to be "popular" and loose my life. It's a challenge but He gives us the strength to do it and promises NEVER to leave, forsake or burden us with more than we can bare.

It's a rather tough decision but my advice: choose life, and in choosing life, choose to follow Christ and keep His commandments to the best of your ability. If you are living in sin, ask for forgiveness and decide to trust God to help you to live right. A second from now is not promised, you don't want to leave this world uncertain where you'll spend eternity all because you chose to sacrifice over obedience! Be blessed...

NEVER GIVE UP OR IN!

Hello blog fam! So today what's in my spirit is the subject of FAILURE....
With the world as it is today, that word is easily accessible even on the tongues of the least expected. Many are struggling whereas they never had to in the past. So what exactly is a failure? A failure is someone whom after attempted something and it doesn't go as planned, gives up and becomes idle. What a failure is not, is a one who tries tirelessly and does not get the results expected, someone who sets out to new destinations outside of their comfort zones all to not get the results intended, someone who accomplishes that which he/she set out to regardless the struggle!

I thought we'd discuss this topic especially because most recently I had to stare that word directly in the eyes...I had relocated to Los Angeles 3 years ago post graduating from college to work for a HUGE radio station, arrived in LA all to receive none of which I was promised prior to relocating. I quickly realized that was God's way of getting me out of my box or comfort zone. Had I not been given the employment opportunity with the radio station I would not have gone. So, i'm there hitting the ground running so I thought, until I learned running in LA is to walking beside a subway....get the picture?

LA helped me to gain a WEALTH of information about the portions of the entertainment industry's that interest me. Therefore, I can birth my gifts in those fields regardless of my physical location because I now house the info to get the job done.

So, when I abruptly had to relocate back to MD, a place I vowed never to return to...that big ugly word FAILURE starred me down like a lion to prey in the forest. I had to realize failing would be me making the physical transition, but negating the spiritual one. Returning to MD and becoming "ordinary" would be failing HOWEVER, I had no plans to do that. Each day is a struggle because i've made the declaration to NEVER GIVE UP, therefore the enemy works in overdrive sometimes to prove me wrong but he's just dumb....he messed up when he made attacks on my unborn child and failed. Now that she's here....there's no stopping me!

I shared my testimony to say to YOU, you're not a failure until you give in! Make the decision today to never give up or in until that which was spoken before the foundation of the earth is fulfilled! Blessings.....DREAM BIG & NEVER, EVER GIVE UP UNTIL IT'S FULFILLED!!!

WTW?

Dude, what is the deal with the church today and the kingdom of God overall. There have been so many disturbing stories in the news here lately...okay so the one pastor in Baltimore getting his elderly and disabled members to sign over their insurance payouts then ordering hits on them...umm pastors are suppose to sheppard right? Not murder!

Then with all of the molestation and rapes going on right in the church. Yes the church is a hospital but it appears that there are not enough sub surgeons available. The Lord Jesus Christ is the chief of surgery but it appears that He's running the hospital alone, not that He needs assistance. But is it not our job as His servants to be his instruments here on earth? Why are we failing so miserably? Could it be that a GREAT percentage of churches followed suite with the school system removing prayer meetings and such?

There are so many churches evolving everywhere. It's become the new phase like Beyonce' shingle shades or the Keyshia Cole haircut. It's the "IN" thing and it's so sad because God is not pleased. There are actually churches whose symbol is the rainbow, representing it's homosexual and lesbian congregation, a clear abomination before God. I'm definitely not saying to hate people who are living the homosexual lifestyle because we all have some form of sin in our lives, otherwise we'd be on God's level of perfection. But what I am saying is the church MUST be restored back to preaching/teaching/praying JESUS and HIS word alone!

What is your opinion on the matter? Comment and let me know.

Donnie McClurkin Morning Show

Okay so this may be a sensitive post for some but, there's no harm intended.
Let's address the DONNIE MCCLURKIN Morning Show....my opinion and clearly this is just my opinion...i'd rather listen to roaches fighting in the walls. LMBO I LOVE Pastor McClurkin as an artist/man of God but as a radio show host OMG! Let me back up, I can't blame it all on him, I MUST include whomever the show producer(s) and writer(s) are...please write something else. GEESH This show sounds so fake and staged, it's absolutely ridiculous and to think it comes on everyday....for the show employees sake, the majority of the world is asleep because otherwise if arbitron zooms in on the true ratings....the pink slips are coming. Okay that's my vent....GOD BLESS DM! LOL

GOTTA HAVE FAITH

FAITH, although a word containing five
simple letters, weighs a ton.
The mastering of it’s meaning a true battle to be won.

It’s defined as the substance of things to hope,
evidence of things unseen.
But what it doesn’t mention is that it’s true
testing will ween, the wheat from the tare, proving
how much one can bare, belief alone in what shall be.
Believing what was spoken a great manifestation we shall see.

So how exactly does faith work, what does it entail?
When a prophetic rhema word is spoken faith assures
it won’t fail.

If the word is received it then gains the value of a
solid covenant, promised to never return void or
the consequent, would be the lack of need of
faith for we know to be untrue.
If the father released it into the earth realm it’s
guranteed to come and find you.

Faith without it, God impossible to please,
for the smallest amount is excepted even the size
of a mustard seed.

Many lack faith in Jesus Christ because His
physical they say can’t be calculated.
But there’s evidence of it all around which is why
his word is often manipulated.

Often translated to fit or to impress,
validity sometimes abstracted all to demote Christs’
success, in sacrificing His life to save a world
of strangers.
And because of His bravery accepting Him shields
us from danger.

While the enemy is roaming the earth to and fro
desiring to devour Christs’ own, salvation and faith
together as one stands and atones.

Together His glory is formed bannering like the sky,
the sun peering to melt the scales from the believer’s eye.

Now baring the vision of Christ the power within complete
and an assurance that by mentioning His name there’s
no chance of defeat. Have faith, it’s worth it!
