Hello everyone. I was checking my twitter right before I turned in for the night and I saw a number of people tweeting DERRION ALBERT. Being the journalist I am I decided to do some investigating and arrived at a video which showcased his brutal beating which took place this afternoon in Chicago. Derrion was only 16 and beaten by members of a gang outside the school yard. It grieved my very soul because I am a mother and I can only imagine what his mother is feeling: the very woman whom cultivated him for 9 months in her womb. The woman whose blood flowed through his veins, giving him life.
The Lord began to share with me the urgency for all of His people to pray, pray, pray. All of us male or female possess a spiritual womb in which we birth often. It is our womb which possess the means of communication from earth to heaven. Brothers & sisters we have no time left for the elementary now i lay me down to sleep prayers. The devil is destroying our children quicker than we can blink. We must connect in the realm of the spirit and begin to prophetically declare the word of the Lord over this land. What we speak is what we get! The word says when 2 or more are gathered, touching and agreeing He is in the midst. If 1 can put 1,000 devils to flight and 2 10,000 imagine what will happen to the kingdom of darkness if every single person who claims Christ as Lord and Savior unite and pray with the intent to destroy satan and his punk angels. You do the math! Naturally I am heart broken but spiritually I am suited for battle.......will you join me? Let's go to work!

STOP fighting spiritual battles with your fist!
Okay so I realize that I have not been on here in almost 3weeks and for that I apologize. Let me just tell you that those 3weeks were like non I've experienced in all my years. The enemy thought he was going to strip me of my sanity but he's so stupid...wouldn't you agree?
The well is overflowing so much, I almost don't know where to begin....so let's just begin and allow the HS to lead us to the end.
Problems, trials, and tribulations are inevitable especially in the life of one who proclaims Christ as Lord and Savior. I've learned that one of its main goals is to strip us of the desire to praise God. Notice I used the term "desire," because for many of us, it comes from the flesh, contingent upon our emotional state. But praise is designed to come from the spirit. Paul says to live is Christ and to die is gain. This was a difficult scripture for me to understand with natural intelligence, so I depended on divine revelation. When we accept Christ as Lord and Savior we die to journeying throughout life with personal agendas. Upon accepting Christ we exchange our belief system for His. Therefore, dying is a 100% gain because a new life in Christ will be far greater than one without. When we endure attacks that we know are directly from the enemy we must take our tool which is praise before stepping onto the battle field. Praising God especially when things are in disarray will confuse and defeat your enemies. Thanking God for what He's done in the past, is currently doing and what your faith confirms He will in the future shifts you into a new dimension. Not only will you see the answer to transitioning out of your situation, but you'll become more trustworthy to God which then makes you a candidate for advancement. This is why the enemy creates such destruction so that praise is the furthest from your mind. Just yesterday I was in the Walmart parking structure and we all know how frustrating that can be. A woman came from the rear and took a space I was heading into. OMG (oh my gosh) my hand began to shake as I STRONGLY desired to give her that magic finger, all while listening to "I'm Available To You" mind you. LOL I stopped and began thanking God for exercising self control instead and drove off all to be lead to an even closer spot in the 1st aisle of the lot. Look at God! Had I reacted the way the enemy desired me to, I would have given her the finger in front of my sister whom admires my spirituality, which would have then discounted my witness as it relates to assisting her with shortcomings.
We also must realize that the enemy is a pond and only allowed specified access because the Lord desires us to grow in those areas. The Lord knows that I have challenges with my temper therefore, He allows me to be tested. As soon as I respond properly, I am advanced to another level of testing to ensure the spirit behind the action has been exposed and rebuked. Once I pass the advanced level I am then transitioned onto another course. Praise is a weapon of mass destruction because it decapitates the major attach which could be for example, a bounced check, which then throws the entire account off balance resulting in fees, more bounced checks and frustration. If we stop and praise God for balancing our account prior, He can then instruct us to call and speak with a representative in order to cancel the fees and reject any other checks from bouncing. The enemy desires us to react out of our emotions so that the hands of God will be tied. He is a JUST God, but He is also sovereign in that He has the ability to do what he wants, when He wants. The next time you're faced with an obstacle, (most likely at some point today) before reacting take a deep breath and praise God like a mad person. Not only will you scare off any physical adversity's (people), but the spiritual ones as well. LOL We must remember the weapons of our warfare are not carnal (of the flesh) if they were, the next part of the verse would not exist...they are mighty in power for the pulling down of strongholds. Stop fighting spiritual battles with your fist, you'll loose every time. Until next time....PRAIZEM HONEY is your greatest weapon yet!

LUV, LUV AGAIN, LUV SOME MORE!
Happy Thursday fam! Let's tap into the well...
This week I felt a pressing in my spirit to clean things up in my life. There were a few loose ends via relationships that I needed to repair in order to remove any fault from my hands. The first, my mother. She and I NEVER had a relationship for a number of reasons. One, she never connected with me even in the womb, so upon my arrival, the disconnection continued. I invited her to the hospital in April when I gave birth to her only grandchild, and things ended REALLY ugly. However, although I knew in my heart that I didn't hate her, I realized she isn't someone I want to have physical contact with. I thought it was only right to allow her to see my daughter. I stopped by and upon walking through her threshold, I was overwhelmed with a spirit of emptiness, lacking love. The atmosphere was so empty and although Lyric is only 3months, she too sensed something out of the ordinary. She screamed, cried and wrapped her arms around my neck which is completely out of her character. Nonetheless, I knew in my spirit regardless, the love I wasn't shown, I needed to extend Christs' love any way.
I shared that story to expose a spirit that has heavy presence on this earth and that is HATRED! We as a people are privy to hate one another before loving, and it should not be that way. We have all had experiences where a person has wronged us to the point of not even wanting to pass by them even in heaven. John 3:16 says God loved us so much that He sacrificed Jesus for the sins of the world. (paraphrasing) The scriptures also tell us that love covers a multitude of sins. Yes we have been taught that love stimulates from the heart, but I'm more inclined as a Christian to believe love comes from the soul. The heart can be deceitful above all things, but a soul that belongs to Christ has His motives foremost. Although we sin, and commit fleshly acts, the truth still resides within the soul. LOVE is very much a verb! People frivolously say they love another all of the time. But true love is shown more than spoken. Honestly, I have not a desire to have any dealings with my mother or my daughter's father, and if my flesh were my boss, I would erase them from my life completely. However, I belong to a God who sacrificed His only child for me, therefore I must love them regardless. Because I recognize God lacks glory from a "consistent" physical relationship with them I keep a distance, but when I am to share space with them, I can exhibit the love of Christ which isn't offensive. WOW! What a mature lesson! Start this moment and love those in spite of how they treat you. You don't want any of your blessings blocked from foolish pride, because that's what HATRED is, one being too prideful foolishly to forgive and allow love to move you past the circumstance. LOVE, LOVE AGAIN & LOVE SOME MORE!

EMERGENCY ENCOURAGEMENT!
Hey, I usually don't post on Sunday's but there's an urgency in the spirit therefore, I must be obedient. I sense that someone is right at the edge of a true breakthrough but you simply can't see it due to all you are enduring. Beloved it ain't over until God says it's over!!! Don't throw in the towel on yourself because God truly hasn't! You need to understand that the race isn't given to the swift, or the battle to the strong, but it's given to the one with the ability to endure and THAT'S YOU!!! Be strong and courageous for the steps of a good man/woman are ordered by God. No good thing shall He withhold from those that walk upright before Him. You are more than a conqueror. I don't care what it looks or feels like you are victorious. The devil wants you to commit dream suicide but he is a liar. He's simply the Prince of the air but we serve the KING and LORD of all! Don't be defeated beloved, you can make it. You were made to succeed. Forget about what they said about you, they are simply validating the miraculous blessings headed your way, or as Apostle Hinton would say: "passing out a business card in the spirit!" You can and will make it! Remember the times of old when God brought you through. That same God is standing with His arms extended saying: "come my child you who are weary and heavy laden and I will give you rest. My yoke is easy and my burden is light!" Dust yourself off and declare that EVERYTHING the Lord said about you will come to past. It may seem delayed but it's coming in perfect timing! Be encouraged beloved in knowing that this too shall pass. Don't give up pray, after you pray praise God for victory and after you praise worship Him simply because He is! Every time you're faced with an obstacle remember God is able to do exceeding, abundantly above ALL you could ask or think! Ask, seek, knock and receive the release of the Lord! I speak blessings of healing, deliverance, encouragement and prosperity upon you all.....

I'm fasting hamburgers on Tuesdayz!
Happy Friday Everyone! I decided to began posting once a week because I am transitioning and will not have as much time to post.
With that being said, let's tap right in to see what's in the well...
After failing miserably time after time during fasting & praying, I realized I lacked wisdom on the matter, so I decided to purchase a book entitled The Miracle Result of Fasting by Dave Williams. People seem to believe as long as your not eating, your fulfilling a successful fast, when in actuality all you're fulfilling is a successful diet. Fasting and praying go hand in hand, in that it is impossible to conduct one without the other. Even Jesus himself found it important to fast & pray. He believed that in order to defeat his adversary and complete His assignment on earth, He needed chains broken. The major prophet Isaiah spoke of it this way: "Is not this the kind of fasting I have chosen: to loose the chains of injustice and untie the cords of the yoke, to set the oppressed free and break every yoke?" Isaiah prophesied that severe demonic presence in one's life via strong holds and bondage can only be removed by this practice. So why is it that we either negate fasting all together OR we amend it to fit "our" levels of comfort? Let's continue taping into the well...
This past week I was asked to join a friend in fasting in order to loose the hand of the enemy over this person's life. Wait, what did she just say, fasting with someone else? That's exactly what I said because we must remember that our lives are NOT our own. This is why it is important for us to understand the principles associated with fasting & praying so that we can join forces to defeat the enemy for others as well. The bible says in Matthew 18:20 that when two or more are gathering touching and agreeing in the name of the Lord, He is in the midst. (paraphrasing)
There are a number of different fasts in the bible. One, Daniel, is often exercised. It is a 21 day fast allowing consummation of fruits, vegetables, fruit juices (non concentrated) and water. However although popular, this may not be the best fast for everyone. If you know your health will not allow you the absence of meat as with Daniel's fast, substitute for another item such as fish, all while fasting for healing of your sickness. While omitting certain foods as a sacrifice and testament of faith in the work of the Lord, we are to substitute the time we would usually spend watching television, movies, playing games, listening to secular music, etc. in prayer and reading biblical literature. Personally, I pray about a time i.e. 6A-6P where I refrain from eating all foods and consume ONLY water or natural juices. I also read, pray in the spirit and listen to gospel music or messages in the place of my normal activity. It is also very important to attend prayer meetings, bible studies and actively participate in praise and worship. Lord help on the days Real Housewives of ATL comes on. LOL Just kidding! Fasting uncovers a level of wisdom concerning what we embrace via eye and ear gates. Perhaps, we may enjoy watching/listening to many of the "very" entertaining shows but it is not wise because they are contaminating to our spiritual growth therefore, we must filter out our intake. Fasting must become the lifestyle of the believer in Christ. Jesus spoke in Matthew 6:16 exclaiming: "when you fast, do not look somber as hypocrites." (paraphrasing) He didn't say IF but WHEN! We MUST seek the Lord regarding specific time weekly, monthly etc. where we consecrate ourselves to fasting and praying. If you have/are experiencing generational curses, repetitious experiences, demonic interference, illness, unsafe communities, addictions etc., it's time to develop a lifestyle of fasting and praying. In Dave's book, he unveils road blocks that will make your fast in vain. They are: fasting to compete, fasting in arrogance, fasting in showy display and fasting with boasting. If any of those are means for your fast, you'll be waisting your time, because God will not honor them. So, seek the Lord today regarding your consistent fast and the next time someone you care for is under attack, you'll be prepared to react. Have a wonderful & safe weekend....

SHOPPING MEDICATOR!

Happy Surdy as Baltimore people would say! LOL
I pray you all have a fulfilling weekend.
The most favorable activity on Saturdays for people across America is......give up? SHOPPING!!!! I happen to enjoy this activity myself, especially on Saturdays. There's something incredible about the Saturday rush: longer lines, crowded parking structures. I don't know, maybe I'm just weird. If you live in LA and visit the Beverly Center, you definitely think I'm weird because that place is a circus.
However, the mall is one of the places very similar to the church on Resurrection Sunday in that there's guaranteed to be a large crowd. Why do you think that is? I use to get an overwhelming feeling of sadness each time I visited the mall and could not figure out why. I was getting great bargains, enjoying my company, and still sad. Has anyone ever experienced this? So one day I decided to seek God concerning my feelings because they were growing more cumbersome with each visit. The Lord began to share with me that many people use "shopping" as a means of medication for various issues and diseases such as: addiction, low self esteem, marital/family problems, physical sickness etc. Therefore, as a prophetic intercessor, which He calls all of His children to be, I was sensitive to the spirits that were around me. The Lord strategically placed me in the mall to PRAY against the schemes of the enemy. What??? You mean I wasn't there simply because Betseyville and Carter's Clothier was having a sale? Perhaps in part, but 95% of my attendance was to be an instrument tugging on the heart of God concerning what I sensed in the spirit. People lose themselves as a result of masking issues via shopping because its deception is that by not acknowledging the problem, it will go away. NOT TRUE!!! What happens is that after spending unnecessarily, because that's exactly what it is, the problem has grown because it was suppressed. Now, you're depressed about your initial issue as well as the fact that you've spent without proper reason.
So, before you catch the sales today, say a little prayer asking the Lord to cleanse your heart so that you can pray successfully for someone else. If you are the "shopping medicator," realize this is a trick and once your high is over, those same problems will be staring you down like a wolf to prey. The enemy PREYS on you, decide this moment to PRAY on Him. Enjoy shopping because there are NO underlying ailments which constitute the experience. Also, be especially sensitive to others with "shopping medicating" spirits around you and remember YOUR prayers could be the very ones saving some one's life. Trust me, your shopping experience will be far more fulfilling! He rewards those who diligently seek Him! (Hebrews 11:6) While in the shopping facilities, expect some miraculous discounts or specials simply for your obedience in prayer. He loves us, why wouldn't He release blessings even at the mall. Enjoy your Surdy & Sundy! Blessings.....

LD2MS, are you?
Pray the Lord fam what it do!
So today we are going to briefly touch on a very familiar subject, and that is "PRAISE." Often times, many will only engage in this activity when things are going well or at least manageable. However, the BEST time to praise is when things are going totally, completely, absolutely, ridiculously OUT OF CONTROL. You know when things are so beyond words that they are simply stupid! That's the best time to praise God because first, it reveals your true level of faith and commitment to the word of God and secondly, it confuses your devils. Many would argue the natural response to problems are anger, frustration or sadness. But the moment we shift into praise, an extraordinary response, we declare victory over that situation. It takes a radical, extraordinary response to receive radical, ridiculous results! The enemy desires us to embrace those other reactions because they all are catalyst for further negative responses. The enemy's assignment is to kill, steal and destroy (john 10:10) therefore, he has a Bobby Seale (black panther party) response: "any means necessary!"
I dare you the very next time you are faced with what seems to be a stumbling block to shift into praising God for what He has already worked out and what you know with certainty He will work out because He is true to His word. Too many times we engage in unnecessary "emotional" dramatics, when the proper response is praise. Think back to all of the times you kicked, screamed, cursed, took a drink/smoke all to see a victorious outcome in the end. Any response other than praise simply depayed your perfect ending. The bible says that the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but MIGHTY in POWER for the pulling down of strongholds. 2 Cor 10:4 (emphasis mine) Each time we utilize our weapon which is PRAISE, we pull down every trick and scheme of the enemy which has acted as strongholds in our lives. The scripture doesn't suggest praise to be a cute response, it says that's it MIGHTY IN POWER which means that sometimes we have to get "crunk" for lack of a better term to defeat our adversary! Make your last challenge the last using anything other than praising the name of Jesus as your response. As you mention the very name of Jesus Christ EVERY knee MUST bow and tongue confess that He is king of kings and Lord of all! This is why the enemy wants us to respond in other ways because He knows once the name is spoken it grows legs with feet and kicks him in the butt! LOL! This blog has gotten me excited, can you tell? As a matter of fact LOL doesn't due justice, let's create one in which we, the kingdom folks will use when we refer to our father. Let's go with LD2MS Laughing Down 2 My Soul.....whatcha think???

The other week I noticed something my daughter did which caught my attention, but not in the way it did the other day. She sits in her seat with a hanging mobility toy above her and talk sometimes even fuss' at the toys because she's too afraid to fully extend her arms to reach them. Therefore, she becomes frustrated with them as a result. A few days ago Lyric was asleep in her chair and as she turned from side to side to gain comfort, she extended her arms which reached the toys, swaying them from side to side. WOW!
Now Lyric is only 3 months so the idea of trying new things is oblivious to her at this point. As for us, it's very familiar! How often is it that we don't allow what truly resides within to manifest as a result of being too afraid to stretch. I've come to realize in my blank years of existing, (LOL) that the times when I am completely uncomfortable and feeling out of my league, can be attributed to God stretching me. It's almost like He has to put us to sleep, meaning a position where we are uncertain of what takes place in order to pull us to greatness. However, like baby girl Lyric, we get frustrated with what lies ahead as opposed to the disability which resides within challenging the growth. Grant it, no one in their right mind will choose to be physically blind, nonetheless, imagine what we can obtain and are willing to embrace had we not had the ability to see what was current.
My riverz begin to flow a little deeper as I sat and looked at Lyric sway the toys. I thought of how just a few months prior my belly had stretched to maximum capacity to accommodate such a wonderful blessing. This is the same in the spirit for us. In the end our physical, emotional, mental and spiritual stretch marks will stand as a reminder of what was endured in order to gleam over the wonderful blessings in the end. So, to be honest, the journey the Lord takes us on regardless of how cumbersome, which by the way is determined by our response, is worth the stretching in the end. The reality of it all is that Jesus made each of us to His own liking, gifts, talents and all. It's like an artist who has been working on a master piece over time. Once the piece is completed, his primary goal is to have the labor appreciated by the viewers. It's the same with our heavenly father. He placed all of these wonderful characteristics inside of us and His ultimate desire is for us to live 100% fulfilled lives offering those gifts. He doesn't want us returning to Him loaded with all we refused to be stretched in order to expense. Stretch marks, although very annoying, represent our victories! Allow God to stretch you in every capacity of your life, especially those areas which you desire to control the most! Again, it's painful and annoying but the ends result is miraculous...Be Blessed!

"HOLLYWOOD BREAKDOWN"

Helllllllllllllllllo cyber fam!!! I miss you all! Pray your weekend was wonderful!
Over the weekend I endured what I use to refer to as the "Hollywood breakdown." I use to refer to it as such when I resided in Los Angeles because it would be a time whereas I felt as if I could NOT endure another trial before loosing my mind. I was faced with this experience over the weekend however, this time, the Lord gave me a whole new revelation about it. It actually came on two separate topics ending at the exact same result. I cried out to God and I said, "I'm tithing without an income, giving an offering, reading my word, faithful to the blog, believing as hard as I know how and I don't have anything left." And the Lord clearly said: "all you need is to trust me. When it's all said and done your trust in me is what will bring about my miracles." Needless to say I was still a little angry because I "thought" I was trusting Him, but obviously I wasn't 100%.
The second was regarding sin and the reality that when we feel as if we are trusting God in vain or the blessings are not moving quick enough, sin is the most used reaction. We often resort to what is familiar and has been asleep. Let me expound. Many times we do not receive deliverance from the desire, we simply bury it. Therefore, when life presents challenges, the enemy awakens the sin and reintroduces it in a more enticing light. The Lord began to share with me that many become enslaved to their sins because they have placed a humanistic approach to the time frame in which sin can be forgiven. The bible says once we ask for forgiveness, it happens immediately and thrown into a sea of forgetfulness. But we tend to harbor the memory which results in mental slavery to the sin. The prophetic declaration of the Lord is that not only is sin forgiven and forgotten instantly upon request, the very next instant/second begins a NEW slate. We are not to be of sin nature, meaning religiously committing the act. When we seek forgiveness, we are to intend to NEVER embrace the temptation again.
So today we must make declaration that regardless what the physical appears, trusting God wholeheartedly will be our response. We must also declare that as humans we make mistakes, but the instant our Father in heaven has forgiven us, the next we must walk in newness.

CONQUERING OFFENSE...I'm done with the church!
Heller Fam! It's "hump day," and the weekend is drawing nearer yehh!
Yesterday I posed this question taken from the Apostle Paul. He said he knew how to abase and how to abound. So my question is "what do you do when you feel abased and abound to the max, do you abase more, or abound more?" I know it sounds really wordy and complicated but it's actually rather simple. Far too many people have been forced to exercise those tactics when it comes to dealing with the people of God. Woow, did you think I was going to say the people of the world? You see, we expect to need an extra grace when dealing with people who do not know Jesus, but neglect to realize those who do know Him can be challenging as well. There are far too many people whom like myself at some point or another experienced what we call "church hurt or affliction," as a result of an incident.
The situation could have occurred with another member OR even the leaders. So what do you do in order to recover from that conflict? Do we just decide to not return to the church and utilize other resources such as books, Cd's, or the internet? Unfortunately, that is the response for many because they were unable to conquer the offense. However, the word of God indicates in multiple places that Christ's goal is for us to join together as a church body in order to render strength and encouragement to one another. One indication is found in Galatians 6:1-2 Brothers, if someone is caught in a sin, you who are spiritual should restore him gently. But watch yourself, or you also may be tempted. Carry each other's burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ. Paul reveals that first, we will get caught in some form of sin because we are human and secondly, when we do, the burden of prayer and supplication for our deliverance is to be carried by our brothers/sisters in Christ. Our brothers and sisters won't know to carry our burdens if we are out of position. We are to restore in love and gentleness. The enemy loves calamity, which is why he works in overdrive to ensure it exists especially in the church. When there is confusion present, the enemy's desire is for someone to receive enough emotional/physical injury to decide to leave the congregation. Once that individual is lured from those in the faith, the devil then comes in for the kill releasing evil thoughts and cancerous spirits.
The next time you are tempted to engage in unnecessary warfare with a fellow brother or sister in Christ, walk away! Walking away is the best response because the longer you wait to retrieve a clever response, the greater chance your flesh will opt to become the victor. Moreover, the greatest way to ensure the flesh is not penetrated, is to be certain you are suited with the full armor of God, Ephesians 6:10-17. When you are wearing the breastplate of righteousness and the shield of faith, there is little opportunity for simple offenses to reach your spirit. The person can speak all malice or deceit and it will bounce off of your shield.
If you have been offended or harmed by a member of the body of Christ, forgive them for your own personal peace, go to that individual in love and a spirit of excellence to make them aware of the offense. If they apologize GREAT, but if not, shake the dust off of your feet and free yourself from the chains around your neck. Isaiah 52:2The same applies if it is a leader, but don't allow offense to cause you to miss your destiny. We must only move when it is in the timing of God. There are some who struggle to move past the offense of a leader particularly because they have idol worshipped and have placed them higher than they should be. The word of the Lord speaks against Idol Worshipping. God destroyed nations as a result. Most recently, we have witnessed examples of this during the death of Michael Jackson. People were committing suicide because they felt as if they could not live without their God. If this is you, realize this instinct that like you, the leader is human and WILL make mistakes. They may/may not intentionally harm you, but if they do, forgive them, remain steadfast and faithful until the Lord releases you from that ministry. Discern the larger plan of the enemy before reacting, and you will cancel his plans everytime! Blessings!

CLEAR CHANNEL COMMUNICATORZ!

Itz Monday!!! So much has taken place over the weekend but I trust all is well in your lives, if not let's believe God that all will be well.
Yesterday at Life Changing Ministries Apostle Hinton preached so on point I felt like throwing my bible at him. Have you ever experienced that? It was such a time of healing, deliverance and restoration. As I sat my riverz began to flow concerning today's posting.
So here it goes...
Ultimately, we are created to worship God and allow Him to utilize us as His instruments. In order for this to take place, we must possess a clear channel. Have you ever been listening to a local radio station as you're traveling to another state and the further you rode/drove away from the initial area, the station became consumed with static? The channel becomes so unclear that you are forced to switch to another due to lack of ability to decipher what is being aired. This scenario is exactly how it works with the vessels of God. He desires to use us freely, but when our channels are clogged with unrighteousness He moves on to someone with a channel that's clear. The media mongol Clear Channel Communications, had not an idea to the prophetic declarations they decreed by naming their corporation.
Our channels must be clear from malice, grief, fear, hatred, witchcraft, glutton, deceit, adultery, fornication, immortality etc. in order to be clear and available as a frequency to God. It is imperative to have our channels decluttered because He also sends messages through those channels, for us and others. Our "discernment" is located in the channel canal. When there is contamination, we find ourselves in dangerous, unnecessary and avoidable situations. Have you every found yourself in a predicament whereas the scenario is so minor you're in astonishment as to how you even became apart?
The decision we must make today is a detrimental one, to both us and others. If we make the choice to trust God with all of the issues we have been harboring in order that our channels may be clear, God will reward. He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. Without a clear channel pure, authentic worship is impossible because there will be a fog blocking the pathway to enter into the realms of worship, outer/inner court, holies of holy and most holy place. The process of gaining deliverance may be painful because the truth of the matter is that we have become immune to some of the besetting weights in our lives. Nonetheless, it's worth it in the end. Make the "right" decision to possess a Clear Channel in order that we may be used to Christ's ultimate capacity!

Introducing MR & MIZ INDEPENDENT...

HAPPY INDEPENDENCE DAY!!!!!
Pls don't over eat, enjoy time with family/friends & don't forget to reflect upon the true meaning for the holiday!
As I sat back and thought about what the blog should entail in recognizing "Independence Day," my riverz continuously lead in the direction of FORGIVENESS!! Many people will not be able to experience a personal "Independence Day" as a result of the lack of forgiveness in their lives. It is most important to forgive first ourselves and then others whom have wronged us. There is an on-going LIE that unforgiveness renders power. This is the greatest lie one could ever believe. In fact, when we refuse to forgive we actually forfeit all of our power to the adversary. The scripture over in Matthew chapter 6 remind us that if we can not forgive others, God won't forgive us. DEEP, I know!
Unforgiveness becomes a strong hold over our lives, almost like having a chain or shackle around the neck. It can contaminate our personalities, both physical and mental health. Many result to spirits of schizophrenia and insanity as a result of not releasing tragic experiences that occured. The enemy uses the "power factor" to persuade the believer into believing not forgiving will bring feelings of empowerment and restoration, that they house something over the other person. However, he's diablo, the prince of the air and father of lies. Unforgiveness is an "air" reaction because it is of the flesh. Therefore, because he's the prince of the air, each time we react upon the lie that we should not forgive we praise him instead of Christ. The enemy only requires one small aspect of sin in the believers life in order to gain entry and cause havoc.
Do you honestly believe a God who sacrificed His ONLY son in order that we might have eternal life would desire us to accept something that will cause eternal death mentally, emotionally and sometimes physically? Would He say "I am the greatest love," and desire us to commit suicide? The answer is undoubtedly NO! Satan recognizes that any person that has accepted Christ as personal savior and Lord of all is a major threat to he and his angels. He schemes and enters wherever he can in order to ensure we do not possess our destiny's. Forgiveness is one of the largest entry ways because it is the superior or catalyst for sub-demons such as: anger, murder, envy, jealousy, and malice to name a few. If the enemy can challenge you not to forgive, He will eventually destroy your entire life. Regardless the occurrence, it's not worth your life! Forgive yourself, there's no need in crying over spilt milk meaning, the deed has already taken place, it can't be reversed, then forgive the other party. Forgive & move on!
Nonetheless, remember the instance in order that it won't be repeated. In Genesis, Jacob wrestled with a spiritual being, some say it is God others simply say a spirit. But the moral of the story is that after the fight Jacob was left with a limp. God could have very well healed Jacob's hip instead, he left him with a physical remembrance of the experience. Many of us are left with some form of scaring to remind us to move forward. Philippians 3:13-14 Forgetting those things that are behind me, I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling which is in Christ Jesus.(paraphrasing) Today is the day to declare your "Independence." Many of us have been restrained for far too long. Let go & let God!
Be Blessed

QUIT HATING MARTHA!

It's "hump" day fam, but the beauty in this week is that if you're employed by a governmental organization tomorrow is your Friday as a result of the independence day weekend. Yehhh!
Let's go str8(text lingo meaning straight)into the well to see what's flowing today. Every now and again I get a little frustrated as I reflect on my life. I think: "Lord I'm diligent in prayer, faithful to your works, tithing, sewing, etc and yet people who do not, have farrrr more than I do." Has anyone ever experienced these feelings other than me? I know you have, quit being deep. LOL I see the entertainers accepting awards never acknowledging God, living in the huge mansions, driving the flashiest rides, banking and their fruit is rotten. We are not to judge others, which is why I said their fruit is rotten. We are allowed to be fruit inspectors. It would begin to discourage me at times because "I" felt as if it was taking too long for "my time" to come. Still with me?
However, the Lord begin to share with me why I have not a reason to first of all compare myself to them and secondly be "jealous" of what it appears they have. Only what we do for Christ will last!(paraphrasing)Matthew 6:19-21 Why then, would I compare myself to those who have no regards for the assignments of Christ. If they are simply "busy" with things that do not glorify God or edify His people, it will eventually disintegrate. In Luke 10:39-41, Jesus comes to visit sisters Martha and Mary. Mary recognizes that Jesus' visit will be short and most likely will not happen again therefore, she sits and listens to all He has to say. Martha on the other hand is busy preparing dinner, cleaning etc. and has the audacity to get an attitude with Mary because she isn't assisting her. Jesus replied to Martha (and again I'm paraphrasing):"you chose to be busy with stuff that's not important, let alone beneficial to your destiny, so don't hate on Mary for chosing not to."
The children of God who have committed their lives to working for Him are MARY and the world is MARTHA. It may take us a little longer to get the task completed or for the dream to come to past, but when it does, it will be long lasting as a result of having placed it before God until He's done molding it. Don't get me wrong, James 5:17 tells us that Faith without works is dead. We are NOT to sit around awaiting the blessing to knock at our doors like the publishers clearing house. We must be set in motion, preparing behind the scenes. Think about it: if we have a spirit of hard work and zeal alongside of Christ's timing, OMG (another text lingo meaning Oh My Goodness) we are unstoppable!
In Psalm 73, David refers to a time when he too experienced what we have regarding the subject. He said his feet had almost slipped because he envied the arrogant when he witnessed the prosperity of the wicked. David said when he tried to understand why, it became oppressive until he entered the sanctuary of God. When we get into this funk and our vision is compromised, we MUST expeditiously get in the presence of God via his word or prayer in order to not fall short of His glory. Around the 25th verse David released something that sounded like pure music to my ears. Have you ever heard something so deep it felt like an aromatherapy bath with a hot cup of green tea and a good book after a 16 hour work day?
David said:
"Whom have I in heaven but you?
And earth has nothing I desire but you.
My flesh and my heart may fail,
but God is the strength of my heart
and my portion forever."
Tell me really, is there anything left to say? I think NOT! So fam, let's adopt David's attitude and progress with certainty, that when the dreams manifest they will be the very best and it will NOT be short lived. Be encouraged in knowing only what we do for our Diddy, Christ Jesus......WILL LAST!

AND THE DOPEST PERFORMANCE GOES TO...

Happy Monday Everyone!
Okay so this is definitely not an entertainment blog however, from time to time there will be postings recapping or shouting out our kingdom sibz who rock in the biz! With that being said we must give a ROCK ON! to MARY MARY ft. QUEEN LATIFAH for the dopest performance last night on the 2009 BET Awards. You ladies rocked it out and it was one of my most memorable performances. JOB WELL DONE!
Mary Mary may not appear the average representation of what Christ is "suppose" to look like for some! However, He's all over them. It's ministries like Mary Mary that remind the rest of us that often times we are so focused on the 4 walls that we miss our assignments completely. Everyone's pulpit is not meant to be in the church. Truthfully, our pulpit is wherever our feet land, but there is a remnant of us whose pulpit may be in secular places. WOW~I already heard somebody say: "that ain't God." But it is soooo God! Jesus ate with sinners exclaiming it's the sick who needs the doctor, not the healthy. And i'm paraphrasing...
Our gifts reveal where our pulpit is located. For example: if you're a poet and you know it, LOL your pulpit could be various spoken word venues, if you're a bang out fashion designer, your pulpit could be the run way, you get the picture. We can't expect everyone who needs Jesus to run to the alter.....DID WE?? Therefore, we must take God out of our comfort zones and let Him show how to TRULY give Him glory via our service for the kingdom. When we pigeon hole God to fit our personal limits, we are NOT exercising faith. Yes the bible says to be wise and not foolish in our decisions but above all it says to make them through earnest prayer and supplication. There are so many pulpits that are dusty and falling apart all because we have not taken possession of them. The church pulpits are good and shiny and in some instances ready to catch on fire...but that's another blog.
If any of you lacks wisdom, he should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to him. James 1:5
If wisdom regarding our assignments lack, we should ask God immediately. Many have been mislead by the statement: "don't question God." We are not to question His position, meaning His decisions as in saying ours would be better, His authority, but we are allowed to ask regarding what is misunderstood...He's our father, He longs to train His children!
Let's make this our last day on the WRONG pulpit, or watching ours collect dust. There's work to be done.....so let's GET ER DONE!
Until Wednesday

ACTIVATOR ANYONE?

Itz FRIDAY!!!! dance, dance, dance~if anyone has had the week I've had you'll take a dance break with me!
My riverz have been doing a serious flowing on the subject of "Activating your victory!"
Now I know it sounds weird and the title doesn't help because it sounds like I want to bring back Jerry Curls, but let's plow through it...
When we accept the Lord Jesus Christ as personal saviour, one of the gifts we receive with eternal life is victory while here on earth. It's almost like the worst secret that could ever be revealed to the believer because once it's fully activated, the enemy can NEVER win again! If victory is already inside of us awaiting activation, how do we get it activated? The answer, THE WORD OF GOD! The Holy Bible which contains the Holy scriptures is the only way to activate VICTORY in your life. Think about it: many of us complete our personal bible study at the most distracting times, which usually results in it being incomplete. We read on lunch breaks, where people will come and talk to us, late at night and the scriptures end up reading us or at breakfast when we have our TO DO list for the day overtaking our mind. Therefore, when adversity is faced and VICTORY is the response, it doesn't assume it's position because the WORD hasn't been spoken.
If anyone has ever seen the movie "Weekend At Bernie's" this will be a helpful example. Bernie was a dead man who responded ONLY to music. Anytime music played he would began to walk which left little indication that he was not asleep but actually dead. Bernie's death was suppose to be kept a secret, and remained especially when the music began to play. Victory works in the same manner, in that it receives its activation from something. That something is the rhema (spoken) word of God. When the trial arises, and the word is spoken, Victory responds accordingly. Like Bernie, our Victory to the enemy is dead, but as we speak the words, it comes to life and the enemy is then perplexed, because what he thought didn't exist has now defeated his plan.
I am done with victory less battles therefore, I am creating a schedule that will ensure bible study time daily. It's impossible to not read the bible consistently and expect the best results. Let's develop a plan this moment, to do whatever it takes to spend intimate time with God's word resulting in fully activating 100% VICTORY in our lives. Everything revolves around the word! The earth and all within was established based on the rhema word. Speak the word and watch it work on your behalf! Until MONDAY begin ACTIVATING YOUR VICTORY!
Have a blessed, safe & prosperous weekend.

SURF BOARD or STITCHES???

It's TUEZDAY~I must first send out heartfelt condolence and prayers for all of the families who lost loved ones in the DC train crash on yesterday! Blessed are they that mourn for they will be comforted! Your comforter (JC) is standing with you today!
Okay fam, so I realized anytime God is preparing to take me to another level I have to participate in various forms of circumcision...and we thought only males were circumcised! LOL
The Lord challenges me to rid of behaviors, attitudes or practices that will hinder my growth to the next level. It's just like dating to marriage. When dating you have less accountability to the individual because you are simply getting to know one another, but when married, you must provide info regarding whereabouts etc. You can't just stay out all night, not call and come back the next day thinking all will be well. You get the point!
As God transitions us to higher heights in Him, we must not only rid ourselves of personal hindrances, but of people that will hinder. This is especially difficult when you have history with the person. However, just like a horrible habit, a person can prohibit as well. So how exactly do we know who can ride the waves and who gets the axe. Rather bluntly put I know, but it's all good!
Let's list some differences so that we can ALL be 100% clear when deciding who fits into what category.
WHO CAN RIDE THE WAVES~
1. Our language if not exactly the same, is very similar.
~If I am planning to travel the world, you're not limited to envisioning traveling the city...AXE THEM!
2. When we communicate there's a stirring within, my baby leaps.
~Our convo should be so refreshing and motivating I began activating what we discussed immediately after the convo.
3. I am afraid to try or dream bigger, you challenge me to do so.
~The person shouldn't be agreeing that it is too big or too scary...AXE THEM!
4. I am completely out of my league and should focus on achieving something more suitable to my gifts or talents, and you assist me in love to see that.
~If your dream is to become a recording artist and you couldn't sing unless Jesus came down and stroked your vocal cords Himself, but your friends tell you it's a wonderful idea...AXE THEM!
5. When you mention your progress towards obtaining your goals your friend is ecstatic for you and asks with sincerity, how they can help you get to the finish line.
~If they don't reply and become jealous...AXE THEM!
6. Your circle of friends should compliment AND encourage you to get better, not diminish your character.
The list is endless. It's all specific to your situation! Create your list today and decide whose riding and whose getting the axe! Remember, if you take someone who is temporary into a permanent phase of your life i.e. destiny, you're hurting no one but yourself. I don't know about anyone else, but the journey to my destiny has been a lengthy and often cumbersome one without any additions. I am unwilling to volunteer myself to further unnecessary delays and stress. Decide today if they get a surf board or stitches...
Until THURZDAY

DON'T BLOW MY COVER!

Wattup fam, happy Friday!
I was reading the first chapter of Mark yesterday evening where Jesus agrees to heal Simon Peter's mother-in-law and I couldn't help but notice each time Jesus performed the healing miracle he instructed not to tell. Some years ago when I would read that chapter I could never understand why is it, Jesus didn't want anyone to know. He even rebuked evil spirits when they would unveil His identity. Was Jesus being super humble and wanted to ensure He wasn't given credit ensuring it would go to His father?
The more I read of the miracles Jesus performed, paying extra attention to His reaction, I began to receive deeper revelation as to why He reacted as such. Jesus knew very soon He would have to endure Calvary. If the people He needed to minister to caught wind that He was the Messiah, His cover would be blown...This is as Oprah would label and "AH HAA" moment.
Has there ever been a time where the Lord wanted to use you in an usual location, and as a result of your "deepness," the cover was blown and the assignment was compromised. This is why we must be assertive of who we are in the kingdom of God so that we won't need the exterior validation. Think about it: when we're in the grocery store, work, the mall etc., people won't know our kingdom status by meerly looking at us. Therefore, it's a great opportunity to introduce Jesus to those whom otherwise would instantly reject even hearing about Him from those "looking the part." In actuality there is usually a great level of timidness. The members of the church are often intimidated of those in leadership positions, so you can imagine how much greater this exists with those who are not in Christ.
Let's be honest, many Christians walk and talk differently! Let me elaborate...there is a overwhelming percentage of fake, carbon copy of phony original saints pastoring, evangelising, ushering, singing on the choir, or simply keeping the pews warm. As a result, Christendom has taken a severe blow. Nonetheless, there is still a remnant who is 100% authentic in who they say they are in Christ. However, because the task is challenging we must be sure to not blow our cover. There are multitudes of people who will NEVER come to church to find Christ therefore, we must take Christ to them.
So, starting this instance let's make a unified decision to not be so "heavenly high" that we're no earthly good. Really, God is so grand he doesn't need us with our fancy crosses and collars anyway! It's not about us, it's about recruiting souls for the kingdom. Perhaps if we all make a vow one by one to adapt this spirit, the kingdom would began to return to it's intended state! Think about it and act!
Have a wonderful, blessed & safe weekend. Until Monday...

Happy Wednesday Fam!
These past few months I have been engaged in active spiritual warfare and yesterday I really had to hear a deeper revelation as to reasoning for the depth of it.
I thought: "my God what is the deal with this?" I felt as if the more I trusted God, the harder this season became. But yesterday while stilling myself, He began to share with me that for the level of ministry I'm destined to participate in, I must understand what it's like to be at the BOTTOM! WOW "God is you sure I be the one?" LOL
So today, let's ask ourselves: "can God trust us enough to completely disrupt our lives even if done publicly in order to save someone else's, giving Him the glory in the end?"
If your answer isn't an immediate YES, let's explore how to get to that point. The Lord doesn't allow us to experience public humiliation via divorce, abuse etc. to get back at us for sin. You'd be surprised how many people actually believe that! He does it in order to create a level of trust within us. Think about it: if God can trust that even after flipping our lives upside down, inside out we will still press and not give up, we're a major access to Him. He often allows it to be public in order to strengthen our witness when the testimony is shared with others, because they physically saw us at our worst.
Then he said to his disciples, "The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few. Matthew 9:37
There is so much work to be done in order to manifest the great commission which says to go out and baptize all nations in the father, son and holy spirit. Unfortunately, the laborers are few as a result of not desiring to use the power within to sustain trials. Reflecting over history past with renown leaders such as Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., it is evident the dire need to have willing workers for the kingdom of God. As a result of his willingness to sacrifice a life without struggle, God was able to use him to change an entire world. "CHANGE" may be President Obama's platform, but it came through the turmoiling birth canal of Dr. King. Dr. King endured temporary public humiliation and personal devastation, but he received both public and eternal glorification in the end.
The bible highlights in multiple locations that the Lord will NEVER leave nor forsake us. If He brought us to it, He has every intention to bring us through it! So we ask ourselves again: "at what level can God trust us in order to make us strong workers for His kingdom?" This is another one of those self evaluation blogs, where we began a list evaluating where we are. Keep in the back of your mind as you complete your list, that He sacrificed Himself because we were the "work." We were created to be His instruments, let's get to work!
Until Friday~Be Blessed

Don't be scurred!
Happy Monday cyber fam! Pray you had a safe and fulfilling weekend!
TODAY~what's in the well? So over the weekend, I was reflecting over an enlightening conversation I had last week with a very powerful man of God regarding one of the offices I house in the kingdom of God. Needless to say, this conversation opened the levies and sparked a strong desire to gain more revelation, which led me to rereading Judges 4 where it illuminates Deborah.
Prophetess Deborah commissioned Barak(go figure) under the direction of the Lord, to go into battle with the guarantee that the adversary would be handed over to him. However, Barak handicapped by fear, would not trust the word of the Lord and replied to Deborah "If you go with me, I will go; but if you don't go with me, I won't go." Here is where it gets interesting. Deborah responded and I'm paraphrasing: I will go with you but a woman is going to receive the honor for defeating Sisera.
As a result of Barak's "unnecessary" fear, he forfeited his honor. How often is it we are impacted by fear and as a result do not receive the blessing that has been awaiting us? As followers of Christ, we too know the result of the warfare’s we engage in, which is victory! Even if we face defeat we are still victorious! The father had recently proven His word's validity in Joshua as they were en route to the promise land. Therefore, there was no need for any level of doubt in God's ability to make good on His promises. Today, the same applies. There has yet to be an instance in any believer's life, where the Lord's words have fallen to the ground. They have all accomplished that which they were intended. So why is it that the people of God accept the spirit of fear so easily? 2 Tim 1:7 tells us that we are not given a spirit of fear but instead one of power, love and a sound mind.
Fear is one of the greatest tactics of the enemy because he realizes, if he can scare the believer into not even trying, it's an easy win situation. When we give into fear, we limit God in every aspect of our lives. He desires to reign freely, and fear handicaps Him. Fear cancels all prayers because it is the direct enemy of faith. Without faith it is impossible to please God. So with the absence of faith as a result of the presence of fear, we are a stench in God's nostrils.
Ask yourselves today, is it fear as to why you haven't experienced the fullness of God in your lives. If the answer is yes, stare your fears directly and declare TODAY, that they shall no longer be a stronghold in your life. Fear NOT, God's got your back!

I swear itz dejavu!
Hey wassup cyber fam! Yesterday I was reading Acts 1 where it talks about pentecost and how the wind blew, people spoke in tongues of fire and many exclaimed they were simply drunk. After reading that portion, the Holy Spirit challenged me to go over and take a look at 1Samuel, where Hannah was accused of drunkedness by Eli the priest. Just to give a little back ground info for those who may not be familiar with the story of Hannah, Elkanah, & Samuel: Hannah was one of two wives of Elkanah, the other being Penninah, whose womb was fertile. Hannah greatly desired a child, so she consistently petitioned God for a son and promised to rededicate him back to Him as an offering of thanksgivng for opening her barren womb. Hannah bore a son Samuel, and as she promised, she rededicated him back to God. As Hannah sat in prayer, the heavens opened and she experienced a pentecost moment before men knew it to be. Her priest had not even conceived what had taken place. Like the on-lookers on the actual day of pentecost, he accused Hannah of having been under the influence of alcohol as he witnessed her speaking in tongue. When Eli witnessed Hannah's lips moving, it was uncommon and new, so he labeled it with what was familiar to him.
The Lord began to share 2 revelations with me. The first is Dejavu! I always wondered what exactly Dejavu was because I have had experiences whereas I felt a sense of familiarity but had never physically had the experience. Dejavu is not always necessarily physical, it can also be very spiritual. There are times when the Lord will advance our understanding in the spiritual to a level that we feel as if we've physically visited, but we've only been given a revelation in the spirit. Therefore, when the manifestation occurs, we feel as if it's simply a reenactment as opposed to something new. There has to be a great level of submission and willingness in order to experience the true meaning of Dejavu. It's almost like being allowed a private meeting with the mind of Christ. Our Dejavu experiences are freewill therefore, we must desire to have them. The Lord releases these opportunties in order for us to become equipped to conquer challenges before they are even allowed to interject.
The 2nd revelation is the need for present day pentecost baptism in our personal lives. The Holy Spirit descended in such a brisk manner, the entire atmosphere had not a choice but to become completely captured. I find myself needing that "suddenly" penetecostal movement often, in order to survive and grow in Christ. Allowing the Holy Spirit to baptize us with His very presence and power creates much needed suddenly's. I can recall living in California and riding my bike from North Hollywood to work the overnight shift at the radio station. As I rode towards the on coming traffic in order to see the cars ahead, I noticed a car sitting at a stop sign. The driver looked at me, so I thought, so I proceeded. Before I knew it, the car was heading towards me and I was callng on the name of Jesus. "Suddenly" the angels captured me as I was thrown off of my bike and in the same instance stopped the car from running over my legs. I called on the Holy Spirt to intervene, immediately the heavens opened and my "suddenly" was released.
So today cyber fam, on our quest to holiness, we want to ensure we're open, willing and submitted in order to be invited to experience spirtual dejavu's. We must also make the decision to revisit pentecost, allowing the Holy Spirit to endow us daily. Like Eli, those around us may be unfamilar with our reactions to His presence. They may see what looks to be an experience of hell. As a result of revisitng pentecost, our actions will deem the very opposite because the presence brings peace that all will work for our good.
Have a wonderful, blessed and prosperous weekend! Until Monday~

Flow Riverz Flow!
Hey fam! I decided to blog every other day as opposed to every day because it's much easier for me with the little one and all.
This morning I picked up my sidekick to check my emails and I saw a rather interesting one that went on to give various humor quotes about God, including judging others, being honest etc. While reading one of the quotes, you already know what happened. That's right~flow riverz flow!
The quote said "Why put a question mark where God puts a period." I understood where the writer was going but to take it all the way let's go with "why put a period or question mark where God places a comma."
After being whipped with life's changes, being kicked from the top to the bottom, many stop there. However, when you're in Christ it's only a comma or selah (pause). We are never defeated! Just as God is preparing to introduce the "come back" strategy we miss it because we have already placed a period and given up. There has to come a time in the believer's life where throwing in the towel is not an option. We must develop such a spirit of perseverance that at even the idea of a "whoa is me moment" coming, we stop it in its tracks. Until we develop that attitude, we'll NEVER experience the best life and upon entering heaven will be lead to the room housing all of the blessings God desired to release to us but couldn't all because we refuse to believe. The bible tells us if we have faith as minute as a mustard seed, we can move mountains. Reflecting over Christendom overall, it appears that we struggle to even house faith the size of the mustard seed grain. Now before you get all bent and deep on me let's explore it a little further.
If we were truly exercising faith wholeheartedly, gangs would be dismembering as oppose to recruiting because Christians would not be afraid to intervene and take back neighborhoods. Recession for the Christian would be here say because faith reminds us that the God we serve is not BROKE! The examples are endless, everything from cut off notices to foreclosures. So, the task until it's fully adapted is to tap into the reasons as to why we do not exhibit total faith in our personal lives and begin doing so. Without faith it is impossible to please God. He's not being harsh by commanding us to have faith, He's actually being compassionate because He knows what faith can release in our lives.
After you're done reading and have left a comment (smile), write out a list of all of the reasons you can think of as to why faith is lacking in your life, say a prayer asking God to help you break through those barriers and develop a lifestyle of faith. Gotta go....I have a list to complete!

Is it time for change?
Okay I do realize that I'm like late today however, I promise it will be worth the wait.
Yesterday, I reluctantly attended church with my family at the church I attended from childhood until I left for college. I used the term "reluctant" because I realize my time is very important and waisting it is not an option. The church is of a denomination which does not acknowledge the fullness of the Holy Spirit. They believe that God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit are all in one, but not that the Holy Spirit gives revelation, direction etc. They also do not believe in the flow of the prophetic.
So, I sat as the pastor stood tall and proud at the podium, "today's sermon title is exercising the power of God within." I already knew due to lack of being open to receiving revelation inspired by the Holy Spirit the message was going to be dietary, but of course my own riverz began to flow. It's amazing how revelation knowledge is almost sitting in mid air awaiting to be accepted, and is released to whomever is willing. The pastor didn't want it but I was more than happy to receive it! LOL
The problem is not that we, the children of God lack power, the issue is in activation and finally exercising it. The power of God is similar to that of a visa or master card whereas you possess it, but in order for it to have an impact, it must be activated. The power of God is activated through the word of God. His word brings power which then opens doors for the Holy Spirit to enter and flow in additional realms. For example: you and I can walk up to President Barak Obama and tell him how we believe the country should be ran. He may listen to what we're saying, but it will amount to absolutely nothing to him because he possess' the knowledge and understanding required to properly manage the country, we don't. Until we have the word of God to bring forth power, our words and actions will be empty. Many become so overwhelmed with life's challenges and circumstances, that they don't make it to the activation or exercising stages, which is why we must house the word. The word of God should be hidden in our hearts that we might not sin against God, and also to be readily available when needed. As trials/tribulations arise, the word is there to awaken the power that is simply lying dormant to combat on your behalf.
Sitting there, my riverz began to flow not so much about activating the power of God as did the importance of being under a good bible teaching/believing ministry. So many of us have become complacent with attending ministries for the wrong reasons: popularity, socializing, programs etc., and we have neglected it's TRUE purpose in our lives. In the bible many would go into the synogogues and tent meetings to receive and to expense. People came for healing, deliverance, salvation, and to serve the community. Has the vision been tarnished or even lost completely?
If you're in a church that doesn't hold you accountable, require a spirit of honesty, integrity, lacks vision, negates the five fold ministry, has pastors with a heart for the members, it's time for a CHANGE! Truthfully, the church has been allowed to operate in this manner because people have are comfortable in sin and are disgruntle when it is exposed. If that's YOU, understand God is calling you to a place of holiness. Please don't be afraid, it's not a dirty word. Often times, when holiness or righteousness is suggested, there is a level of intimidation because many believe you're devoting your life to reading the bible 24/7. If you do not submit to God you'll live your entire life, going to church sunday after sunday and NEVER truly know God and experience His power. I had to choose Christ over my fleshly desires and He's calling you to do the same. It's not the easiest task, but it's the MOST rewarding. Make the decision today, gain membership with a ministry that will stretch, develop you and assist with manifesting your destiny! Be Blessed

My Grandiddy!
Often times my grandfather, effectionately known as "JD" aka Jim Dollar and I have huge debates over everything from the bible to the winning lottery numbers. If you have ever met my grandfather you know he has problably benefitted from the MD Lottery more than they intended. He wins at least twice a month and it's decent amounts...in the thousands, but he is as tight as a ants nostril.
The other day he and I began to debate (as usual) about saying your grace over food. My grandad is 82, so he prays loud with his hands folded in front of him regardless the setting whereas, I pray silently, without my hands folded etc. He went on to chastise me saying he knows plenty of people like me who don't thank God for food, all because he didn't hear me say it....GO FIGURE! LOL... So, after he told me the bible said to give thanks, which it does, I began to tell him that it also says to not pray in the synogogues for man's approval like pagans, adding how he wins the lotto and is stingy and what the bible says about being stingy.
My grandfather is the king of "come backs," he's so quick on his feet even at 82, which is where I get it from. He says: "The problem with you and the lottery is that you don't sew enough seeds. You sew once or twice and expect a harvest. As for me, I sew daily as much as I want in return. If you learn how to sew maybe you'll reap and won't need my reapings!" HILARIOUS!!!!! Who knew that convo was going to turn into a lesson about seed time and harvest, but of course with me, the riverz began to flow.
He was right! Grant it he didn't quite address his stinginess, but overall the msg was true. I began to think of the reasons as to why I haven't reaped in areas I "thought" seeds were sewn significantly. I sewed once or twice and walked away. I didn't cultivate the seed nor did I bother to check periodically for weeds, which could choke my seeds. I never came back to even plow the area, so basically while I await harvest, i'm practically waisting my time. Perhaps, some other sewer came along, saw that a seed was sewn on good ground and decided to add to and cultivate that which I had planted. I can't be upset because I didn't follow through! As I have watched so many that i've even assisted (sewn into) go before me, I must admit I sewed and moved on. How guilty are we all of that??
So, today let's make a declaration that we will at the least ATTEMPT to follow our seeds to harvest. Sometimes we may sew on dead land, if so, move to a fertile ground, sew again and follow it through. Being in Hollywood I saw so many "wanna be's," but are not willing to do the work to get there. The bible says faith without works is dead! If we don't work alongside of our faith, we're just doing something...We can pray until Michael Jackson stops wearing masks in public to "BECOME," but if we don't make it a PRIORITY to do the work we're praying amiss.
Aight fam, tell me your take on the ordeal!

Itz Gr8ter!
Wassup fam! This morning I was up with my little one around 1am or so and there was a James Brown preacher on the radio you know, the talking loud and saying nothing type. So, while he was "preaching" my riverz began to flow about some real talk. The scripture from Samuel that says: "obedience is greater than sacrifice," was just ringing and I began to receive long awaited revelation.
I would think what on earth is meant by that scripture, so often times I went along as if I got it but on the real, I hadn't until now. Okay so the reason God breathed obedience to be greater than sacrifice, is because disobedience sacrifices ALL, let me expound. Disobedience to the will of God removes us from the presence of God because He only inhabits places exhibiting ORDER. Disobedience creates a communication breakdown between us and God which then sacrifices our ability to discern danger and removes the favor/glory cloud from hoovering over us. To be disobedient ultimately is to sacrifice your life, because disobedience brings about sin and sin is death.
Man, that whole revelation is something. It pays to be odedient to Christ's words regardless of the pain associated with them. It may feel, smell or even look wonderful, but if it's outside of the will of God not only is it temporary, its result is intended to take your life. Many get touchy about being FULLY obedient to God because it's not the most popular position to be in. Afterall, everybody else is getting it in right, so why can't we? I can't speak for anyone else, but i'd rather be considered "unpopular" and hear God clearly then to be "popular" and loose my life. It's a challenge but He gives us the strength to do it and promises NEVER to leave, forsake or burden us with more than we can bare.
It's a rather tough decision but my advice: choose life, and in choosing life, choose to follow Christ and keep His commandments to the best of your ability. If you are living in sin, ask for forgiveness and decide to trust God to help you to live right. A second from now is not promised, you don't want to leave this world uncertain where you'll spend eternity all because you chose to sacrifice over obedience! Be blessed...

NEVER GIVE UP OR IN!
Hello blog fam! So today what's in my spirit is the subject of FAILURE....
With the world as it is today, that word is easily accessible even on the tongues of the least expected. Many are struggling whereas they never had to in the past. So what exactly is a failure? A failure is someone whom after attempted something and it doesn't go as planned, gives up and becomes idle. What a failure is not, is a one who tries tirelessly and does not get the results expected, someone who sets out to new destinations outside of their comfort zones all to not get the results intended, someone who accomplishes that which he/she set out to regardless the struggle!
I thought we'd discuss this topic especially because most recently I had to stare that word directly in the eyes...I had relocated to Los Angeles 3 years ago post graduating from college to work for a HUGE radio station, arrived in LA all to receive none of which I was promised prior to relocating. I quickly realized that was God's way of getting me out of my box or comfort zone. Had I not been given the employment opportunity with the radio station I would not have gone. So, i'm there hitting the ground running so I thought, until I learned running in LA is to walking beside a subway....get the picture?
LA helped me to gain a WEALTH of information about the portions of the entertainment industry's that interest me. Therefore, I can birth my gifts in those fields regardless of my physical location because I now house the info to get the job done.
So, when I abruptly had to relocate back to MD, a place I vowed never to return to...that big ugly word FAILURE starred me down like a lion to prey in the forest. I had to realize failing would be me making the physical transition, but negating the spiritual one. Returning to MD and becoming "ordinary" would be failing HOWEVER, I had no plans to do that. Each day is a struggle because i've made the declaration to NEVER GIVE UP, therefore the enemy works in overdrive sometimes to prove me wrong but he's just dumb....he messed up when he made attacks on my unborn child and failed. Now that she's here....there's no stopping me!
I shared my testimony to say to YOU, you're not a failure until you give in! Make the decision today to never give up or in until that which was spoken before the foundation of the earth is fulfilled! Blessings.....DREAM BIG & NEVER, EVER GIVE UP UNTIL IT'S FULFILLED!!!

WTW?
Dude, what is the deal with the church today and the kingdom of God overall. There have been so many disturbing stories in the news here lately...okay so the one pastor in Baltimore getting his elderly and disabled members to sign over their insurance payouts then ordering hits on them...umm pastors are suppose to sheppard right? Not murder!
Then with all of the molestation and rapes going on right in the church. Yes the church is a hospital but it appears that there are not enough sub surgeons available. The Lord Jesus Christ is the chief of surgery but it appears that He's running the hospital alone, not that He needs assistance. But is it not our job as His servants to be his instruments here on earth? Why are we failing so miserably? Could it be that a GREAT percentage of churches followed suite with the school system removing prayer meetings and such?
There are so many churches evolving everywhere. It's become the new phase like Beyonce' shingle shades or the Keyshia Cole haircut. It's the "IN" thing and it's so sad because God is not pleased. There are actually churches whose symbol is the rainbow, representing it's homosexual and lesbian congregation, a clear abomination before God. I'm definitely not saying to hate people who are living the homosexual lifestyle because we all have some form of sin in our lives, otherwise we'd be on God's level of perfection. But what I am saying is the church MUST be restored back to preaching/teaching/praying JESUS and HIS word alone!
What is your opinion on the matter? Comment and let me know.

Donnie McClurkin Morning Show
Okay so this may be a sensitive post for some but, there's no harm intended.
Let's address the DONNIE MCCLURKIN Morning Show....my opinion and clearly this is just my opinion...i'd rather listen to roaches fighting in the walls. LMBO I LOVE Pastor McClurkin as an artist/man of God but as a radio show host OMG! Let me back up, I can't blame it all on him, I MUST include whomever the show producer(s) and writer(s) are...please write something else. GEESH This show sounds so fake and staged, it's absolutely ridiculous and to think it comes on everyday....for the show employees sake, the majority of the world is asleep because otherwise if arbitron zooms in on the true ratings....the pink slips are coming. Okay that's my vent....GOD BLESS DM! LOL

GOTTA HAVE FAITH
FAITH, although a word containing five
simple letters, weighs a ton.
The mastering of it’s meaning a true battle to be won.
It’s defined as the substance of things to hope,
evidence of things unseen.
But what it doesn’t mention is that it’s true
testing will ween, the wheat from the tare, proving
how much one can bare, belief alone in what shall be.
Believing what was spoken a great manifestation we shall see.
So how exactly does faith work, what does it entail?
When a prophetic rhema word is spoken faith assures
it won’t fail.
If the word is received it then gains the value of a
solid covenant, promised to never return void or
the consequent, would be the lack of need of
faith for we know to be untrue.
If the father released it into the earth realm it’s
guranteed to come and find you.
Faith without it, God impossible to please,
for the smallest amount is excepted even the size
of a mustard seed.
Many lack faith in Jesus Christ because His
physical they say can’t be calculated.
But there’s evidence of it all around which is why
his word is often manipulated.
Often translated to fit or to impress,
validity sometimes abstracted all to demote Christs’
success, in sacrificing His life to save a world
of strangers.
And because of His bravery accepting Him shields
us from danger.
While the enemy is roaming the earth to and fro
desiring to devour Christs’ own, salvation and faith
together as one stands and atones.
Together His glory is formed bannering like the sky,
the sun peering to melt the scales from the believer’s eye.
Now baring the vision of Christ the power within complete
and an assurance that by mentioning His name there’s
no chance of defeat. Have faith, it’s worth it!

The Light Has Come!
It's such a wonderful thing...this whole blogging idea. I swear it should be considered the new age counselor! You can say what's on your mind and after releasing all of that clutter you're 10lbs lighter, well at least your brain is...what's on my mind today?
I went to my church Life Changing Ministries and we had a guest, Pastor James Nelson Jr. and OMG this dude's ear was sitting in God's lap, he was so on point. I felt this morning that this would be a great church service specifically for me and it was. I'm recently ending a season whereas I was tried by the FIRE FOREAL. So now that i've pretty much developed a great tactic to kicking the devil sqaure in the booty everytime, i've had to go into overdrive to ensure I remain encouraged. That dude was right on my street...
The title of the sermon was "The Light Has Come!" He went on to say that before accessing the light one must endure darkness. Boy was he preaching to the choir! He said in the end that it's an unusual time in God, one where there is revelation, elevation and God is preparing to unveil! Here is the part that just got me bc it was right on my street....he said "God has not forgotten you although it seems that you're working in obscurity, He's about to unveil you and all that you've been doing" OMG the tears begin to flow and wouldn't stop! I've been working DILIGENTLY, not just busy work and somedays i'm like "God when?" So, that word was right on time for me. I pray that my recap encouraged you as well. If you're in darkness know that it's only temporary for the light is on its way! Stay in the press and NEVER GIVE UP!
By the way I wanna recommend a book to you, it's called NEVER GIVE UP! By Joyce Myers~a great read, pick it up today if you can!
